Married couple Yvette Cooper and Ed Balls are to be investigated over expense claims.Ed Balls, the Education Secretary, and Yvette Cooper, a Treasury minister, are being probed after claiming more than £20,000 a year for a "second home" in north London. The pair are married.
A complaint about the arrangement was made earlier this year by Malcolm Moss, a Conservative MP, to John Lyons, the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. Mr Lyons' office confirmed yesterday that the complaint had been "accepted" and that inquiries were now being made.

Cooper and Balls should be investigated by the police over flipping homes. Nothing but fraud.
Cooper and Balls should be investigated by the Police and if any impropriety has taken place should be imprisoned and sacked.
What's happened with all this anyway?? - hushed up???
Brown MUST give these 2 the chop to save his skin.
A few months from now none of this will matter and the pair of them will be looking for alternative employment.
What happened with the investigation into flipping homes anyway? That is serious fraud and deserves punishment if found guilty. Also, the people investigating this should be going through previous years' claims searching for more fraudulent activity.
Once these two have been booted out of government I doubt they will have much of a future in politics or anything else for that matter. When will they be made to pay all that money back to the UK taxpayer??
Yeah it's all gone quiet with the Ed Balls Yvette Cooper home flip debacle. Is this another cover-up??
How the hell have these two managed to get away with it??? If this was a member of the general public they would be hauled in front of a court. It's about time we demanded a full criminal investigation.
bye bye Balls. Cheerio Cooper.
